Faith & Thomas

171 Days To Go!

Thomas and Faith’s story began long before either of them realized it.

They both attended Fort Worth Country Day, walking the same halls just two years apart. Though they shared mutual friends and memories from the same place, they never actually spoke.

Years later, their paths finally crossed. Faith had recently been baptized and was intentionally pursuing a deeper relationship with the Lord. While home in Fort Worth for a short time before heading to Madrid for the rest of the summer, she went out one evening with friends to listen to country music.

In a room full of familiar faces, Thomas walked up and simply said, “Hey, Faith.” What began as a casual greeting quickly turned into a meaningful conversation about faith, baptism, and what the Lord was doing in their lives. Something about it felt different.

Shortly after, Faith left for Madrid, but the conversation stayed with them both. Eventually, they reconnected. Though distance, military training, and unexpected deployments created obstacles along the way, they continued pursuing one another with intention.

Their first official date took place in Knoxville at Neyland Stadium, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers — a night that marked the beginning of countless phone calls, long drives, and a relationship rooted in prayer.

When deployment became a reality, they chose to trust the Lord with their future. The season apart strengthened their faith, deepened their communication, and reminded them that their foundation was built on something greater than themselves.

When Thomas returned home in December 2025, they knew with certainty that God had been faithfully writing their story all along.

Today, Thomas and Faith strive to keep Christ at the center of their relationship, giving Him all the glory for a love story defined by faith, resilience, and His perfect timing.

What began in the hallways of a high school where they never spoke has become a testament to God’s faithfulness — a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful love stories are the ones written long before anyone realizes they’ve begun. 🤍
